Stefano Boeri's Vertical Forest

As we all know, we lose many precious plants during construction processes. The image displayed depicts architect Stefano Boeri's "Vertical Forest," building concept. A vertical forest or "Bosco Verticale" is a building design that focuses on reforestation of the Earth

Good air quality is promoted with reforestation as it causes the atmosphere near the ground to become more concentrated with oxygen.

Vertical forest buildings are designed to be homes, almost like a normal apartment or condominium complex. But, unlike normal residential homes, this one gives back to the nature of Earth.

Each building is covered in about 2,000 + plants. Consisting of different kinds of shrubbery, small trees, and flowers... etc. Every unit within the residential building gets its own tree and many other kinds of plants as well. And hey, can we just admit how beautiful it would be to see this every time we slide open our back doors?

As a bonus, the vertical forests not only bring the world more trees and homes, they also help those who may be less fortunate, like the homeless or city dwellers because they improve the overall air quality!

One point for science, and one times a million points for Stefano Boeri who has curated such an amazing and inspiring design concept to help our planet! I hope to see a bunch of these buildings in the U.S. one day.
